SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL YELLOW AND RED
It takes more to belong to a motorcycle club than filling out paperwork, paying dues, and putting on a patch. You have to be committed and support the club. You have to ride out of state on occasion. The members of a club become family. You do all you can to help your family. If your club member needs help, you need to be there without hesitation, worry, or fear--just do it. Always have your brother's back. It takes time and money, but you need to be ready, willing and able to do whatever it takes. That's why most people don't want to be part of a motorcycle club. They don't want to be committed or give the time. We don't want wannabe's, patch collectors, or people lacking commitment. We want brothers we can depend on who are willing to do for the club whatever needs to be done. If you aren't ready and willing to do this, don't sign up. Don't start to prospect and hope you will slide in because you will not be accepted. Don't waste your time or our's.
Remember the members of this club have something special. Not many Americans can be part of this club. We are an elite class of Veterans. We served our country when it wasn't very popular to do so! It didn't matter if we were in-country, supporting, or serving wherever our government wanted us. We did it with pride and commitment. I believe that is why the members of this club support the military 100%. We've been there, done that. We understand what the soldiers are going through. We pledge NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have them feel what we felt. When you wear the patch, you represent all of us. GIVE RESPECT AND GET RESPECT. Be an ass and get treated like an asshole. We are committed to the brotherhood of the VOVMC and ride for those who can't. Ride safe and be proud of who you are! We are looking for more Brothers so if you would like to join us..just click the Join Up Here page. We need to remember our Vietnam Brothers... Brother Wolf
Remember, NEVER AGAIN, WILL AMERICA TURN HER BACK ON HER HONORABLE MILITARY AND VETERANS. "Never again will one generation
of veterans abandon another."

A thought to ponder.
Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a
battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son,
the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret,
greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment
inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute
and then asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

February News...Just finished with the big swap meet here in Denver. There were clubs and their members from coast to coast and border to border. This thing just keeps getting bigger every year. We all had the chance to meet up with some friends that we haven’t seen in a while, and renew those friendships once again. It was great to see Brother Cisco and crew from Iowa come down for the meet. The Salute to Veterans has been moved back to Cripple Creek this year in August. A big HOORAH for Jim and Pro-Promotions for getting this worked out. Not that Winter Park and the surrounding towns weren’t good hosts, but Cripple Creek just seems like the home for this Rally. The weather has been cooperating here in Colorado for the last few days so we were able to get out on the Scoots. Guess we sent it on to Tennessee. Brother Brentwood said they got 7” of the white stuff. You all be safe and hope to see you all at the National Meet this year.
November News...11/7/9...Just when a person thinks that something greater could not happen to themselves after such a great day yesterday, along comes another great and humbling day. We attended the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Denver to start off our day. We met for a great lunch at the Blue Bonnet. Then we proceeded to the American Indian Center for the American Veterans Indian Powwow. These guys have never ceased to amaze me in the couple of days that I have known them. What a great bunch of Brothers. I
We were asked to participate in the flag ceremony again today. Brother Riff Raff did a fine job with the Colorado State flag. We were mention more than once during the ceremony. The high light of the day though was yet to come. They had a flag that is the Vietnam Service Ribbon with an eagle feather going across it. They presented it to us. I thought that was really special for them to give it to us. I didn’t realize how special until we were given the story behind it. Our new found friend, Cricket, gave us the story. The flag was presented to them by one of their Native American Brothers some time ago. His name was Francisco Giron, and was killed in Vietnam 10/03/1969. He is honored on ‘The Wall’ on Panel 17W, Row 34 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. He was from Pueblo Colorado, and was Chiricahua Apache. The deal was that at some point in time they were to pass the flag on to some other Veterans organization that would bestow the honor on it that it so much deserves. It was hard for me to keep it together telling ‘Cricket’ how honored we were that someone thought that highly of us to entrust in us this great treasure. I assured him that when we have our monthly meetings, that flag will go up at all of our meetings along with the American flag and our Club flag, as well as our Regional and National meetings.
We also got to meet Francisco’s sister, and told her that we were very honored that we were given this flag and that it will be treated with the utmost respect from now on.
I will keep in touch with this group of Veterans so may be able to show our support again in the future. Pictures are posted on the Region 2 Home Page at the VoVMC Pics link...
11/6/9...Today, here in Denver, I went to visit ‘The Wall’ at Auraria Campus. Supposedly this is the first time that any of ‘The Walls’ have ever been allowed on a school campus anywhere. I can’t verify that, but that is what I was told. I had gone just to see the two guys that we met in Winter Park at the Veterans’ Rally. I also wanted to watch the ceremony at 12:00 noon. Little did I know that I would be a part of something that was probably the most humbling experience of my life. The Native Americans were to do the presentation of ‘The Colors’ at the start of the ceremony, and to do the resigning of the colors at the end of the program. I was not only asked to participate, but to carry the Ogallala Sioux Nation flag. What an honor to be asked to do this. I can’t even begin to put into words how honored I was to participate with these great warriors of America. To quote someone else, (I can’t remember who), Never Have So Many, Given So Much, and received so little in return for their services to this country. We are invited to attend another function of theirs tomorrow after the parade. I hope some of you can make this with me. On a lighter note, this ‘old white boy’ hasn’t done any kind of dancing probably for at least 20 years, but today I was told to follow their lead. I didn’t realize that I would have to dance too. My feet are killing me, but it’s OK, because of the fact that it was for such a great cause. Pictures will be coming later.
Sept. News...One picture says it all.
National Meet 2009
Aug. News... Today some of us along with some PGR members were invited to Ft. Carson, to Command Headquarters, for a farewell for General Graham and his wife. They will be greatly missed, as they have been very supportive of all of the veterans groups. See Picture below

"About Vietnam...The tragedy, indeed the immorality of those years, was that for the first time in our history, our country and it's government failed to match the heroic sacrifices of our men in the field...This must never happen again."--President Ronald Reagan March 2010 Thought of the Month...by Brother Nite Train - National Sec./Treas.
